• Bacteria and viruses are NOT the cause of ear infections!
• The cause is actually due to a neurological dysfunction in the inner ear causing the fluid in the inner ear to become stagnant. The stagnant fluid allows the bacteria or viruses (which are ALWAYS there) to grow un-checked.

How we treat & prevent ear infections

• Chiropractic care for ear infections gently adjusts the bones in the upper neck and corrects the nerve dysfunction that controls the movement of the fluid in the inner ear.
• This is why antibiotics create the cycle that drives parents crazy: ear infection, antibiotic, 2 weeks, ear infection, antibiotic, 2 weeks, and so on.​ But we treat the root of the problem, which helps to prevent more ear infections.

Dangers of not preventing ear infections

• 80% of children will have at least one ear infection before they turn 3 years old
• Antibiotics are the most common treatment for acute ear infections, and surgical implantation of "ear tubes" is the most common treatment for chronic ear infections
